Rodeo Time!

One of my very favorite parts about this time of year is the RODEOS! I wanted to squeeze one in so we headed down to the Nephi Rodeo with some of Jeds family! It was a blast as always!

It was alittle loud for George since we sat pretty close to the huge speakers, but he was a champ and was a pretty good sport through the entire thing!

Ranch with Oldham Family ... Fourth of July Weekend

We took part of the Oldham Family up to see the ranch over the fourth of July weekend. It was mosquito haven up there.. literally! Worse than I had seen it in years, but we still managed to have fun! We went up to the canyon for alittle lunch, horse ride and enjoyed the beauty up there where there were a few less mosquitos!

Saw some wildlife...

Saw more of the beautiful canyon...
Shot pot guts!
Rode more four wheelers (that way the mosquitos could not keep up with you!) ...
Celebrated the Fourth of July, and the freedom we enjoy...

rode horses...

Even in the midst of all the mosquitos I still enjoyed one of my favorite places to be. It was fun to show Jeds family such a special place to me!

Four Month Pictures...

On June 18th Me and ali headed to Salt Lake to get some pictures on our little babies. I decided that my sister Becky takes great pictures and that they would be great. She was so nice to take our little boys pictures and although George didn't show off his cute smile much, I still am happy with the pictures! Little baby Evan and Nathan on the other hand got so many darling pictures I had to share a couple! We enjoyed alittle Cafe Rio for lunch and got some pretty cute pictures!
One of the few where he was smiling!
this was how he was most the time.... No matter how dorky I was it still just didn't work! If i picked him up he was just fine!
Love this picture of him...

How cute is that?
Love this one too!

Little baby nathan too is such a doll! Seriously there were so0 mnay darling ones!
Thanks Becks for being willing and doing such a good job!

Fourth of July Cookies...

Last week Becky and her kids came down to visit, and ali and Evan came over to make some fourth of July Cookies.. It was fun to have people to cook with! We were laughing because little Nathan was sitting in the bumbo and while we weren't looking this happened.....

Obviously he loved it!

Bailing Hay...

I just had to take a few pictures of the hay field. I am going to miss looking out the window and seeing this. You really do take for granted whats around you.. but now I am getting all sentimental becuase I am realizing what I am leaving! For some reason I just think it is so pretty to see a field all cut and bailed! It was fun to see what your own little field can produce. We woke up early one morning and picked up all 300 or so bales.. My arms were so sore I was definately not used to that kind of weight lifting. I felt sort of useless watching my dad and Jed through the hay like it was nothing! At least I tried!

Lake Powell #2

We were lucky enough to get to go to Lake Powell twice this year. Once with Jeds family, and once with mine! That is the joy of having 2 families... two times the fun! We went the last week in June and had such a great time! We did some waterskiing, waverunning, wakeboarding, tubing, baby watching, lizard catching, boat riding, exploring, and some great family time just talking and enjoying eachother! George even loved the water this time around. I would take him out there and let him soak and he was loving it!
Jed early morning watersking!
Me waterskiing...
Cute nathan and Ginger!
Jed cliff jumping!
Krissy and the kids... One of my favorite parts of this trip was watching these kids! They absolutely were in Heaven! It was so cute to see them excited about every single part of the trip! It reminded me of when I was a kid and how magical this place seemed to me!
I dug a little mud hole for the kids and this kid never got out! For 3 days straight this kid covered him self with mud and felt like he had is very own swimming pool! Lets just say his swim suit was ruined by the end of the trip!
Such a fun trip....

Georges first Camp out/pack trip... June 19th-20th

We took George on his first overnight camping/pack trip a few weeks ago... We are trying to fit it all in because it is not long before we are heading out to Missouri! Jed and I keep teasing that we have a bucket list of stuff to accomplish before we leave. Some call us crazy, but it really was a blast. It was absolutely beautiful and I don't even remember George crying. He did much better than he ever does at home!
Getting ready to head out on his first pack trip!
Jed had little George both up and down. George looked around the whole ride up! It was cute he was really trying to soak it all up!
We were so glad that My dad came along! It was perfect spending the night before fathers day with some of the best dads I know...
Hanging around the fire... one of my very favorite parts!
A little family picture!
Georges first night in his sleeping bag! Right in between his mom and dad!

Grandpa with little George.. We hustled out in the morning because a storm was on its way! George slept the whole way out.
