and the best part of the break....

Was welcoming Home Elder Varner! I felt so lucky I was able to be there for all the anticipation and the excitement, sadly Jed had to leave the day before to head back to school. I was lucky enough to get to stay the week and stay for the farewell. Although it was a long week without Jed, I wouldn't have traded it for the time I got to spend with Cute John. It was fun to see that they come back the same people, just better! He is a stud. I had a blast pretending like we were both living upstairs again and getting in some late night talks. We had two years to catch up on! I was so excited for him to meet George.
Our whole family... minus Jed!
3 new babies since he left!
Best Buds Still..
The crew just waiting!
This was my favorite part... The kids were so excited and kept saying they wondered if John would recognize them. They made their own posters so "He would know who they were!"

Leave it to Jed to be the one to come up with the idea of Belly slides... He went first! Heres the results. No one wanted to play after that one!

Christmas eve, Christmas Day!

We had the annual wagstaff Christmas Eve party which was a blast like always. We started out with a delicious meal, and then celebrated the true meaning of Christmas with a Great big Nativity Program put on by the grandkids, memorized parts and the whole bit! Then on to the traditional game of shuffle board. It was a blast! and was so fun to see all the cousins!
Then Santa came for any last wishes! Georges eyes locked on him as soon as he walked in and was uncomfortable until he left!
This is what he Felt about Santa...

We felt so spoiled and grateful to be at home with our families at this time of year! thanks for the fun and for all the traditions that mean so much to all of us!

Megans Christmas Surprise!

Jeds sister Megan decided to surprise her parents by flying in the week before Christmas to hang out! They were all so bummed cause she kept saying she couldn't come till Christmas eve! We picked them up from the airport and walked into Taipan while they were shopping there. And they crouched under the tree and much to Sherris surprise was her daughter and two grandkids. She was thrilled and so were we. Then we headed down to surprise Wade who was at work. They surprised him with a package... and out popped them!
What the box looked like before they popped out!

Brooke and CJs wedding...

We started out our trip to Utah with a bang! It was so fun to go and celebrate the Marriage of brooke and CJ! Of course she looked absolutely beautiful, her reception was in an adorable place, and everything went awesome! We loved being able to take part in her special day!
