our last month in review...(not so quick)

First of all, Jed turned the big "30"! WE were happy to welcome him in many S'More great years with a little s'more roasting party! It was a little breezy that night, so thanks to the brave souls who actually roasted a marshmellow... I stayed inside most of the time with some friends and the baby. George had no idea it was cold, cause he was having WAY to much fun with his friends! George was adorable because while I made the preparations for the party he just kept saying, daddy party, happy birthday daddy! He loved talking about it for days. He was just as excited for his daddy as he was for his own birthday!
Here are some of our friends out roasting!
Tyler brought this HUMONGOUS! sausage for a gift for Jed. Pretty hilarious. It was made by Oldham family Sausage... shoot, no relation! But we did use it for our big COnFERence breakfast the next day!

George still does stuff like this all the time... right here he has caked himself in Lotion! Love love love this kid to death. I am starting to get alot more lax around here when things like this happen cause they happen ALL THE TIME!
For family night one night we set up the tent in the basement... George thought it was a totally Awesome TUNNEL! ha he LOved it and played in it for a few days.
This little tike is obsessed with cooking! If he heres me in the kitchen he is there, with a chair pulled up to my side. He loves helping me and even though it takes sooo much longer with his help, i am so glad I get to enjoy little things like this with him! He would rather help me make dinner than anything! Here we are making cookies, which is particularly his favorite because...
When I am not looking he grabs a handful of dough and shoves it in his mouth.
I know they are not twins, but why is it so fun to dress them in similar outfits/colors!
George sincerely thinks his brother is the best! He is sweet and tender with him!
The SAA had an easter egg hunt, which George thought was a total blast. He loved that there was Candy in them. Here he is with his buddy Saylor making egg trades.... ha
Saylor is excited about having a basketful of eggs, and george is excited about a mouth full of candy!
Saturday night we went over to the Lake and had a fun bbq! It was a blast just hanging out. It was right next to the swing set so the kids had a blast running around like crazy! So glad everybody came along!

Carter is a tank! He was a sport and hung out even though it was a little breezy!
Here is the SAA easter hunt when they said GO!
George and Jackers... pure happiness!
Say and George being silly at the park.. What we these two do without eachother. We go over what Say is doing at all hours of the day. Like, "Mommy is say going night night too? saylor eating dinner too?" He adores her! And they could seriously be twins.
just a couple more of these kiddos together!

This year instead of coloring eggs, we painted them. I knew that he is in such an independent stage that dying eggs would have been a disaster, So I got out kids paint and let him go at it! He was in absolute heaven!
It took George just seconds to dig in to his basket. He was thrilled about it and still talks about the bunny that hopped away! ha
I got George and Carter cordinating outfits for Easter and I could not wait to take a picture of them. Well George was throwing a Massive tantrum before church so I thought after church will do. Well while i was sitting in relief society, I hear Carter explode... Up the back, down the legs, EXPLODE! Perfect... I had no change of clothes so I grabbed george and hurried and got a picture. but that is why carter is sitting in front of George. We did not want the mess to get any bigger! Ha. so for now that is the best picture of them in their easter outfits!

Georges finished product! Good job Buddy! He was quite pleased with his results.
I have been trying to do little things everyday to let his creative self out. I am trying to see if the rampant amounts of mischief will calm down with alittle creativity that is aloud! He loves to paint, play with play dough, color, and all those fun things little kids should and need to do!

So sorry, these are not in a great order. I am using terrible grammar and punctuation because I am nursing while doing this... Life with two ;) You just do the best you can!

Carter Two Months!

Seriously I have no idea where these past two months have gone! He is getting so Big so Fast! Carter is an absolute little joy! He smiles at me constantly.. We are so grateful to have this little fella in our family!
here are some of the things I love about Carter at Two Months:
His adorable little smile, and One dimple on the left side!
His red hair... I just think it is so cute!
I love that his little Chicken legs have beefed up to this chubby little rolls.
He has a nice little neck roll that I have to clean out constantly. (it likes to store little goodies!)
I love that George has a little buddy around the house. I just keep thinking about how lucky they are to have each other.
I love having a little baby in the house again. There is nothing like a newborn, the smell, the little tiny kissable features, the works! they are the best.
I love that he loves his new cradle swing!
I love that he cuddles me
I love that he loves to Nurse!
I love that he is MINE...
Little Carter you bring so much joy into our home and to our family! We are extremely blessed and grateful you are ours!
George is still hilarious! what would we do without him to stir things up a little bit :) We had our friends over for Sunday dinner and they were joking that George is a little angel that just reads books all day... He definitely is an angel, but he is a little busy ANgel around here. He came walking out 3 minutes later with mascara all over his face! George thanks for keeping us on our toes and keeping us laughing! You have so many funny one liners you are constantly saying! You are a great big brother and we love you, love you, love you!
Check out Carters double chin... Delicious!

His chubby legs... can't believe how much he has grown!
His favorite place to hang out!
I love Seeing Jed and George playing together! Here they are flying a kite... pretty sure Jed and I were more fascinated than George! So Glad we have kids to keep us young :)
