HELP!

For my own journaling purposes Only...

This was what motherhood looked like today at our house! today I lost the little bit of independence that I thought I had.. George has CONQUERED the Crib! You see I knew when that day came that I was TOAST and that is exactly what I was today... We had absolutely no nap at our house today. I was pretty shocked when I put him down today and a few minutes later he opened his door and said, "I OUT mommy!!!" He laughed and giggled and ran away from me, so I thought it must be a fluke. I put him in and 30 seconds later the same thing! You see George Could not have been prouder, his face showed it and he was beaming... He had conquered the crib! So the two of us battled ALL DAY LONG! I was so exhausted... I went from laughing to crying to laughing to crying. He was so onry but was having way to much fun just showing me What he could do now. I finally locked him in his room! AH HA I thought I had really got him that time.. 1o minutes later his spotless room looked like this! He managed to dump 3 book shelfs, throw every single diaper he owned, and wiped vaseline and lotion all over everything!
Now the day before was a rough one as well... I spent all morning cleaning up Diaherrea. yes to much information, but it is real and it is my life. Poor little fella wasn't feeling good, and I felt bad for him. So after I had bleached the tub, and the crib, and the blankets, I was putting in wash downstairs and I came upstairs to a kitchen that had been egged.. Not just 1 egg, but 18 eggs! I could not believe it. He looked at me like, "I don't know what I just did, but it was AWESOME!" Wow, I think someone was feeling more like himself..
We have trouble brewing here at the Oldham house, but at the end of the day of no naps and just about pulling my hair out... I am so Glad that I have this little boy to love on. He keeps me running, he keeps me busy ( honestly I don't know what BORED is) and he has made me learn that I have so much to work on in myself! He truly is such a sweet boy but the two of us have somethings that we are learning together! I am just praying for a little better day tomorrow for both of us!
Whoever said motherhood was easy is crazy... It is HARD, but don't get me wrong it is so rewarding, and I am trying to soak in every single minute because my boy is growing fast! I just need to journal these things and be real with my life right now.
Today was just one of those days you are grateful you get to try again tomorrow!

Oh my goodness you have your hands full! He is so funny! You are such a cute mom and exactly who George needs as his mom. I'm sure he needed someone that would be patient with all his fun energy. I seriously can't wait to see you in a couple of weeks!

Oh Tiff, you are such a good mommy. Even with all those naughty things he is the cutest little boy ever! I hope George doesn't teach Saylor his climbing out of the crib trick for a while...

Brad recently crawled out of his crib as well. We took the springs out of the bed, made sure the mattress was in tight by adding padding and that sort of thing next to the mattress and put the mattress right on the floor. He can't reach his leg up to get out again, yet and it seems to be working for us. Good luck with everything!

LOL! When Jack conquers the crib, I'm going to come back to this post and realize I'm not alone. You have one crazy, ADORABLE little boy :)

Wow Tiffany! You put it pretty accurately! Some days I just wonder why I ever want more kids, and some days I don't understand why anyone wouldn't! Lydia is also out of the crib now, and oh how I miss it!
