Learning to Function as a New family of 4!

we are so behind, and part of me was just going to skip ever updating cause I felt so behind but figured I would just give you a quick overload update. I can't believe time has flown so quickly this last little while! Carter is 7 weeks now and is getting so big so fast! These past seven weeks have been a learning time for our little family and now we are finally to where I feel lots more comfortable out and about with two kids, my c-section pain is great, i am back to exercising, and loving having a house full of boys! But needless to say we have learned alot...
George has been learning that being a big brother is sometimes tough tough work... you have to share one of the hardest things and that is some ATTENTION! He loves being a big brother though and there is nothing cuter to see all my boys sitting together. I just keep thinking what a special bond these boys will have. i am so glad I had a baby boy so George will have a constant little friend for the rest of his life. People may come and go but Carter is here to stay!
George definately had a very rough time adjusting at first which was not easy on me. He has only tried a few attempts at getting rid of Carter... they rest of the time he has loved on his brother. If anything he is more mad at me. He tells me he is a "Daddys Boy"! which i do love cause his dad is pretty wonderful!
I have had to remember that having a little newborn baby requires alot of time and effort. Carter is a sweet sweet baby who loves to eat, smile, and be held! he is on A pretty steady i have to eat every two hours and we are trying to increase the time inbetween. I am loving having another little boy though. I love seeing some of Georges old clothes on him and remembering those times. I love his little red hair, and his spittin' image of his daddy! he has been smiling since 4 weeks and I love it. He loves his new Cradle swing and that helps him sleep much better!
Jed has been working his buns off and is in his last quarter of class work which we all are excited about. He is so cute with both of his boys, and I love seeing his eyes light up when he is talking to his sweet little boys. I hope these little boys grow up wanting to be like their dad because he is such a great example.
We have felt so much love and support since Carter has entered the world it is overwhelming! I feel so grateful to have the family I do and to have the support of friends around us that have become like family! I was able to go home for two weeks to see all the babies that were born from Feb.11- march 11... 4 new grandbabies. I loved seeing them and chatting with my sisters as we nursed our babies and changed poopy diapers! It was a blast and went by fast.
Anyways, that's a quick update and I will post more as i find time.. but until then, enjoy these pictures....

first picture of a family of 4!
Carter 2 weeks!

George is cute... He'll sit in Carters chair and hold him. If he is crying he'll say, "its okay carter, be happy!" Melts my heart!
Daddy and his boys! Nothing I love more than these 3!
George has been hilarious! He is at such a fun, funny age! I love hearing the things that come out of his mouth, his thoughts ideas, and personality is so darn cute! He saw me using the pump, picked it up and started using it as a trumpet... afterwards he did it right. The things they learn when a new baby is around! :)
George with his new tools from Granny and Grandpa for his birthday! He turned 2 and loved every second of his birthday! I felt bad it was so close to me getting home from the hospital but thank goodness my parents were here, and took him to mcdonalds for lunch, took him to pick out a cake, and we all opened presents! he felt so cool and so important. His birthday could not have come at a better time because he needed something to make him feel like he was the spotlight! George we love you more than you will ever know or comprehend. You are a total Joy to raise! you keep me laughing, and you keep me on my toes... both of which I am very grateful! Never forget how much we love you okay!
Jeds parents came out to visit with us when Carter was 3 weeks! They were such good sports and were great to have around. George loved having them here and loved getting so much attention!
this was in the Hospital. we gave him a doctors set from Carter and he loved it and wanted to test carters heart! He kept saying baby heart!
this was only like a minute after Carter came out! I was so bummed to have another C-section, but walked away knowing it was definately the best thing for me and Carter! My body does not do well when I go over and we are very grateful to have a healthy little baby carter. Although I was pretty out of it I had a complete sense of relief!
This is the Grandma of the year! She has had 4 new grandbabies in the last month! 3 boys, and 1 girl. She has been such a huge help and support to all her daughters and was a life saver to me. I was so happy she was here to take care of George while I was in the hospital. Leaving George was one of the hardest things for me but I was so grateful to know that he was in such good hands! George absolutely loved them being here and so did I. They came to visit me multiple times throughout the day, the fed us, did my wash, and was the support i needed! thank you thank you thank you!
This is my Dad with the two boys! My mom had to get back for my sisters baby being born the following tuesday and so my dad stayed and helped me out for the rest of the week since I was still recovering from my C-section. HOnestly I know I would not have made it through that week without him. He was such a great help and went way over the top! I finally called my mom and said get him out of here cause he is driving me nuts... he was cleaning everything and I felt terrible. He took George on walks, the park, and played with him like crazy. I felt extremely grateful to have him as a dad and knew how special it was this time I got to spend with my Dad out here. He has always been someone I adore and look up to, and I felt like the luckiest girl to have his help and time. It will be a memory I will treasure forever!

We absolutely love being a family of 4! we are grateful for the joy this new little boy brings into our family. He has a sweet calm spirit and we adore him! I am grateful for George and being patient with us, with these new changes, and for making us laugh daily.
