After the ranch trip over the 24th as if we have not had enough playing for the summer we headed up to the Windrivers with my dad and Jim, judd, and kevin! It was absolutely beautiful and fun to introduce George to the windrivers. There were lots of mosquitos, lots of rain, but it was still such a blast being up in the beautiful mountains! Here are a few pictures of the pack trip in.....
George was seriously a trouper! He definately proved to us that he is old enough to go back :)! He seriously slept for like six hours straight... lets just say that was more than he has in his whole life! If only I had a horse like crib to keep him asleep!
One of my favorite part of the windrivers was the beautiful lilly ponds!
The fishing was not great... but proof that there was a little bit of catching going on!
Part of the pack train!
checking out the maps!
Pack train!
the mosquitos were out... PROOF that George was really a trooper!

Jed and George on the horse!
I was in charge of leading perdy!
So glad this handsome man was our wrangler for the trip! Don't worry... George was wrapped in that big old coat staying out of the rain!
It was such a fun and quick trip. We just stayed overnight and headed out the next day! It was fun and brought back alot of old memories from the windrivers with all my siblings!
