On Saturday we had Jeds white coat ceremony. It wasn't until then that he said he actually got the butterflies and realized this is becoming real. We have talked about it and prayed about it for so long it is crazy it is really here! Everything about this decision feels so right. Even though our hearts belong in Utah we really feel like Kirsksville is so right for us. We feel extremely blessed to be here and feel totally at peace with where we are living and the school he decided to go to! Don't get me wrong there are times we long to come home, but we know that ultimately we are in the right place for us.. So in honor of the beginning of our new lives as poor, busy, studying lives we went to the white coat ceremony!
I am so proud of Jed and for his decision to go to medical school. I know it was not an easy decision for him to make but he knew it was the right one and he followed through with that. It took a lot of courage for this little farm boy from payson to do, but I know he will do great and that it will be a great experience for our family.

Jed is such a goof sometimes and is never afraid to be who he is. So as everyone went on stage for introductions he said grease monkey, oops technology management.. Everyone laughed, I was a little shocked hence the not clear picture! As he went to shake the deans hand the dean said something like now I know who to come to! Everyone that day remembered him and kept saying they are glad he lightened the mood. Leave it to Jed to do that! He is always doing that around our home too!
Our family following the white coat ceremony!

George proud of his daddy!
